Lesley Knox (58) graduated with an MA in Law from the University of Cambridge, qualified as a lawyer and worked in the UK and US. Subsequently, she worked as a corporate finance adviser, first with Kleinwort Benson, where in 1996 she became a group director. She was also Head of Institutional Asset Management at Kleinwort Benson Investment Management which provided investment services to clients worldwide.

She is Chairman of Grosvenor Group Ltd and a trustee of the Grosvenor Trusts. She is Chairman of the Turcan Connell Investment Board and is Chairman of Dundee Design Ltd.

She is a Non-Executive Director of Centrica plc and SABmiller plc.
