If I am unable to attend the AGM, can I appoint a proxy?
Yes, full details will be given in the Notice of Annual General Meeting, sent to shareholders. prior to the meeting. There is also an online proxy voting service provided by our Registrars. Find more information on electronic shareholder communications.

Can I receive my Annual General Meeting documents electronically?
Yes. In order to register to receive your documentation electronically, you will need to access the Registrars' web-site. You will need your shareholder reference number, which can be found on your share certificate or dividend tax voucher. When is the next Alliance Trust Annual General Meeting?
The Annual General Meeting of Alliance Trust PLC is scheduled to take place on Friday 23rd May 2008 at the Hilton Hotel, Dundee.

Confirmation of the meeting, including timing and arrangements for voting, will be issued to shareholders in the Notice of Meeting in due course.

 

Dividends

When is it likely that quarterly dividends will be paid?
Alliance Trust PLC will pay their dividends quartely on or about 31 January, 30 April, 31 July and 31 October.

How do I obtain a duplicate dividend tax voucher?
If you are a main registered shareholder, contact the registrars, either in writing or by telephone, stating the date the dividend was paid, and a duplicate voucher will be supplied.

Certificates for the new Alliance Trust shares were dispatched in the week commencing 26 June 2006. If you have not received them please contact the registrar.
